Hello. Im Kim. 

Im an adventurous traveler and a mom to two girls so I have always looked for pajamas with the criteria that they should be decent enough to be caught in public – be it in a campsite or down the hallways of a hotel  - but comfortable enough to still qualify as pajamas to sleep in.

During 2020 when we were sent home to play, my search for quality sleepwear became a mini-project of mine and I started making a few sets to share with friends and family. It became apparent that I wasn't the only one looking for grown up pajamas and so Sleepies, my mini-project, became my passion.

And so, together with Ashleigh, our Sleepies range has been designed with focus on fine-tuning every aspect of comfort, from the fabric, to the elastic, down to the detail of the size of the pockets. We have invested a significant amount of sleep in testing designs and fabrics to  bring you quality, affordable and locally manufactured sleepwear through the convenience of online shopping and delivery.

Our focus is on local suppliers and we source all of our fabrics locally with attention not only to quality but also to the actual feel and touch of the fabric.

At the heart of our Sleepies range is the belief that behind every need exists an opportunity and we are self- motivated by our commitment to transform needs into opportunities for our community through every aspect of our sleepwear range. We have entrusted a small team of local manufacturers with our bespoke production so that we can ensure you receive quality sleepwear which is produced locally in South Africa.
